MAYHEM 10U Can't Catch Up To Nassau Bombers

MERRICK MAYHEM 10U fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 15-11 loss to Nassau Bombers 10U on Sunday. Nassau Bombers 10U scored on a groundout by Jasper P, a triple by Dylan B, a double by Sean R, and a stolen base by Sean in the first inning.

GAVIN J drove in four runners in the loss. GAVIN drove in runs on a double in the third and a double in the fifth.

After MERRICK MAYHEM 10U scored three runs in the top of the third, Nassau Bombers 10U answered with three of their own. MERRICK MAYHEM 10U scored when HAYDEN Tsingled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run and GAVIN doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs. Nassau Bombers 10U then answered when Aidan C drew a walk, scoring one run, Jasper grounded out, scoring one run, and Seamus R doubled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.

MERRICK MAYHEM 10U scored six runs in the fifth inning. SPENCER B, GAVIN, MICHAEL S, and #99 all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Nassau Bombers 10U scored four runs in the second inning. The big inning for Nassau Bombers 10U came thanks to singles by Jasper and Shane M.

Jack M took the win for Nassau Bombers 10U. Jack went four innings, allowing 11 runs on ten hits and striking out two. #6 threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

BRADY K took the loss for MERRICK MAYHEM 10U. The righty surrendered four runs on three hits over two-thirds of an inning, striking out one and walking one.
