MAYHEM 7U Clinches Lead In Fourth Inning To Defeat Knight Nation


MERRICK MAYHEM 7U took the lead late and defeated Knight Nation Foder 10-5 on Sunday. The game was tied at five with MERRICK MAYHEM 7U batting in the top of the fourth when SAM K drew a walk, scoring one run.

Knight Nation Foder scored five runs in the third inning, but MERRICK MAYHEM 7U still managed to pull out the victory. Adamis, Frem, Schmitt, and Scaramuzzino all drove in runs in the frame.

MERRICK MAYHEM 7U got on the board in the first inning when GRANT G singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

In the bottom of the third inning, Knight Nation Foder tied things up at five. Scaramuzzinodrew a walk, scoring one run.

MERRICK MAYHEM 7U pulled away for good with five runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth SAM drew a walk, scoring one run, PAUL D tripled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs, and DREW D singled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.


DREW was the winning pitcher for MERRICK MAYHEM 7U. The pitcher allowed one hit and four runs over two and a third innings, striking out two. Wenzel and GRANT entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.


Foder took the loss for Knight Nation Foder. The pitcher went two and two-thirds innings, allowing five runs on four hits and striking out five.


DREW went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead MERRICK MAYHEM 7U in hits. MERRICK MAYHEM 7U was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. GRANT had the most chances in the field with two.


Wen led Knight Nation Foder with two hits in two at bats.
