Farmingdale Greendogs pulled away for good with three runs in the third inning. In the third Blake F singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run. Michael L got the start for Farmingdale Greendogs. He surrendered one run on two hits over four innings, striking out eight.
LOGAN toed the rubber for MERRICK MAYHEM 8U. He lasted three and a third innings, allowing six hits and five runs while striking out four. ZACH B threw one and two-thirds innings out of the bullpen.
ZACH and Finnegan each managed one hit to lead MERRICK MAYHEM 8U. MERRICK MAYHEM 8U tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. ZACH led the way with two.
Thomas L went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Farmingdale Greendogs in hits. Farmingdale Greendogs didn't commit a single error in the field. Jacob L had the most chances in the field with one.
